On Valentine's Day this year, I woke up to a heart filled kitchen- my husband decorated with plenty of red and pink and hearts everywhere, a girlie girl's dream. I'm not at all the holiday decorating type, but when it comes to Valentine's Day I'm a sucker for getting into the holiday spirit and this I loved!
He picked up ingredients for us to make Valentine's cupcakes, he was thinking in "Bethany".
I thought this was cute, B + M. Clever.
And he hung these hearts he made himself. Not bad, I thought these were store bought at first.
And of course, the girlieness I adore continued with a little surprise trip for me to The Umstead Spa for a manicure. And I reciprocated his indulgence in my girly side by planning a good meal with meat (the way to a man's heart right?). We made our favorite meal from our honeymoon...salmon with my super secret easy salmon glaze which won't be a secret once I share it on the blog sometime very soon.
A bit of a blurry picture but at least you get the idea. It was very delicious and super easy. Recipe to come soon...promise. :)

What a sweet Valentine's Day! Valentine's day cupcakes sound delicious. Your apartment looks cute too, and knowing you, I'm sure the rest of it is adorable :)
Thanks, Aileen! I'll have to get around to posting more photos of the apartment. :)
