Clothing Swap

My newly married long time friend, Emma hosted possibly the most fun type of party I have ever been to. Okay, it might have been influenced by the fact that it was my first girls' night out since the babe made her entrance. But either way, I think I might be addicted to clothing swaps. The night I drove home from the clothing swap I was already brainstorming how I could host one too.

Addicted, yes.

Here's a look at how it works...

Gather together a group of ladies.
Elementary school friends- me, Hannah, & the new Mrs. Myrick

Sip some wine and nosh on snacks while you lay out the clothes you brought to trade. Emma thought ahead and had us organize the clothes in sections, one couch was the "pants" section, one the "dresses" section, one the "tops" section etc.
Once all the clothes are laid out we began browsing through the clothes, shoes, and accessories while we chatted and tried things on.

As I told Mike, I felt like I made out like a bandit. Look at all these great items that were just sitting unused in someone else's closet? And I hope the items I brought are getting worn and enjoyed by someone instead of just collecting dust in my closet.

Clothing swaps are my new favorite way to be budget friendly and eco friendly with my clothes and accessories.

Anyone else have other creative party ideas? I just love fun stuff like this!
